Qualifications
- Four-year degree in a relevant field highly desired.
- 10 years’ experience in heavy civil construction with an emphasis in public works, heavy highway and underground utilities (storm, sewer, water).
- Experience with managing mass excavation, underground utilities, paving and site concrete projects.
- Experience with team bidding efforts and estimating a broad range of projects / contracts.
- Experience with HCSS (Heavybid Software) Agtek and Primavera P6 preferred.
- Negotiated project experience preferred, including technical writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide and oversee estimating capabilities and experience to the entire estimating and project pursuit department in bid preparation.
- Provide business development skillsets to the California region establishing and maintaining client relationships in securing projects to bid.
- Oversee work of Project Engineers and Estimators.
