Shift Information :
The position is full time, working M-F either five 8 hour shifts or four 10 hour shifts.
Call Required
Currently offering a $$7,500 sign on bonus for qualifying full time CSTs.

What you will do :
The CST First Assist acts as a patient advocate during the perioperative period by assisting in implementing a plan to protect the patient from injury, wrong site surgery, infection and retained instruments. Assists the team in coordinating the patient's care between providers and hospital staff. Supports the patient's physical and emotional needs, while assisting the surgeon. Ensures all supplies, implants and instruments are available for the procedure.
Required Education :
Graduate of an accredited First Assistant Program and Certification from an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
Required Skills :
Basic computer keyboard skills
Preferred Skills : Meditech proficiency
Required Licensure / Registration / Certification :
Certification as a First Assistant, Certification as a Surgical Technologist, Basic Life Support
Preferred Licensure / Registration / Certification :
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Required Experience :
2 years as a CST
Preferred Experience :
One or more years as a CST, 1 or more years as a Certified First Assistant Learn More
