Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountants Receivable specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QuickBooks, financial management and a thorough understanding of billing principles. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the overall financial health of the organization. The specialist will work closely with various departments to provide operations support.

Duties

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.
• Utilize QuickBooks for data entry, reporting, and analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial services or accounting roles. 5 to 10 years
• Must be a 100% team member and willing to assist and manage all aspects of day-to-day operations of the company as required. Not my job or department, isn’t an option within our operation.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes and balance sheet management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Proficiency in other financial software applications for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, have a verifiable and insurable driving record, be on-time for work every day, available and willing to work overtime when needed.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is a plus.

Assist other departments as needed to keep the company efficiently operating.
