All site staff are eligible to earn a resident retention bonus which is shared among active employees and paid on a monthly basis.
The Assistant Property Manager is an extension of the Property Manager for all day-to-day operations and will assume all managerial duties in the event of the Property Manager's absence. In addition to an hourly wage based on experience, this position is also eligible for a quarterly bonus based on the performance of the property. We are currently seeking to fill a position at one of our North Kansas City, Missouri properties - Tanglewood.
Primary Duties Include:
-Assisting manager by overseeing the site staff which includes assisting with marketing and leasing apartments as well as coordinating maintenance and repairs of property.
-Responsible for overseeing receivables for community including maintaining accurate tenant ledgers. This position is responsible for administering legal notices for past due accounts in accordance with state law and company policy.
-Maintain a positive customer relationship with both prospective and existing residents by addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
-Assist with prospective tenants including processing applications, securing leases and move in process.
-Assist with existing residents ongoing needs and move out processes including walking vacant units to evaluate condition of unit.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, data entry, filing, and document management
- Knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Familiarity with Yardi/Rent Cafe/CRM software is preferred
