Peterson’s, a Denver-based EdTech SaaS and publisher, is seeking an experienced account manager to own account management responsibilities for our larger clients across our Career Prep business line, comprised of RMC Learning Solutions (https://rmcls.com) and Dean Vaughn Career Prep (https://deanvaughn.com) brands.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving product adoption, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. We are rebuilding our account management team and you will be the first hire, with the responsibility to help define our account management program, and lead and execute on its services.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Onboarding and Training: Facilitate the onboarding process for larger new and existing clients.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product features and enhancements to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
- Account Growth: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, promoting additional features and services.
- Feedback Loop: Gather client feedback and insights to relay to the product development team, influencing future product improvements.
- Renewals and Contract Management: Participate in the renewal process, addressing any issues that may affect client retention.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor client usage and success metrics, proactively addressing concerns to ensure clients achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications:

- Industry experience in education and exam prep a plus
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 2-5 years in account management, customer success, or sales, preferably in the education sectors.
- Live in the Denver area and are able to come into the office 1-2 times a week. We are just north of the Denver Tech Center.
