The Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all aspects of inbound shipments and outbound deliveries of equipment and work tools. Includes ordering equipment and work tools as well as working closely with the service department for pre-machine delivery, customization, and final configuration. Depending on location, this position may perform additional tasks including using a lift truck to load, unload, move, and organize heavy equipment and attachments in the yard.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSThe following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Other duties may be assigned.Coordinate and monitor inbound equipment and work tool logistics and pipeline.Act as primary interface with the Service Department regarding machine pre-delivery, customization and final configuration.Arrange outbound equipment and work tool logistics for demonstration or delivery.Be responsible for regional locations adhering to shipping and receiving policies.Be able to order equipment and work tools from the manufacturer.Assist Machine Sales Reps with locating equipment at other dealers or manufacturer's facilities.Be engaged regionally, in iMetrix inventory initiative as required by supervisor.Be engaged in regional forecasting processes as required by supervisor. Collaborate with Inventory Specialist, and Work Tool Specialist to ensure machines and attachments are transferred to appropriate stores, aligning on-hand inventory with our Retail Presence initiatives.Provide back-up invoicing support for Sales Administrators at Month, Quarter, and Year-End : Reconciliation of Deal PacketsAttaching attachments in Business System to unit being soldQuick Sales of Used and Allied Rental Equipment for H360Quick Cat Equipment Sales to CrescoOperate company or personal vehicle as needed.Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.At locations outside the state of California, this position may : Operate lift trucks to safely move and organize heavy equipment and attachments.Load and unload heavy equipment and attachments safely on and off trucks and trailers.Tag and scan machines and attachments with iMetrix and verify machine and attachment serial numbers for DBS receiving.Work with Parts department to send attachments to other Peterson stores via XPO or similar serviceOTHER JOB FUNCTIONSWork overtime as needed and within labor law guidelines.Attend scheduled training classes, department, and safety meetings.Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Display excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers / coworkers, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
