What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant position at Petit Psychiatry?
Petit Psychiatry is a looking for Remote Psychiatric Physician Assistant who will assist, monitor, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.
To be a successful physician assistant, you should be formally educated to examine patients, diagnose injuries and illnesses, and provide treatment. You should demonstrate strong attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires working independently under the supervision of our psychiatrists. Previous experience in Psychiatry is a plus.
Qualifications :
- Licensed in OH to practice as a Physician Assistant (licensed in NY, FL is a plus)
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy.
- Must be adaptive and flexible. Experience in Psych field is a plus.
- DEA (preferred).
- NPI (preferred).
