Reclamation team member

Petitpren Inc. is a beer distributor located in Clinton Township, MI, servicing Macomb County and a portion of the Wayne County area centered around Hamtramck. A leader among beer distributors since 1933, we work every day to provide the highest quality of products and superior service to our customers.

The Reclamation team is responsible for processing empty can bags and empty bottles returned to the warehouse.

• Shift: 10am-6pm, Tuesday-Friday
• Must have favorable drug screen and background

This position involves ensuring safe and proper use of all equipment. Reporting any issues when needed. Other duties include but not limited to:

• Following all storage (retrieval) protocols for equipment and issue when necessary.
• Separate cardboard and plastic for recycling and place into correct bale
• Remove all debris from truck bays daily
• Empty waist bins in compactor and reset the balers when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company and regulatory guidelines regarding alcohol handling and disposal.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs regularly and work in physically demanding environment.
• Forklift experience preferred, not required. We are willing to train!
• Previous warehouse or beverage industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
