Delivery Driver

The Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods from the warehouse to customers, stores, or job sites in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. The role also involves assisting in the loading and unloading of goods, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring deliveries meet the company's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport products from the warehouse to designated locations, ensuring all items are delivered on time and in good condition.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, ensuring that items are secured properly and handled with care.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to customers.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or damage promptly.
• Verify the accuracy of inventory by cross-checking delivered items against the order sheets and invoices. Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and receipts.
• Interact with customers in a professional, friendly manner. Address any issues or concerns related to deliveries.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including traffic laws, health and safety guidelines, and warehouse safety practices.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, stock replenishment, or assisting in other areas when needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy products (up to 50 lbs.) as needed throughout the day.
• Valid driver's license.
• Does not require CDL.
• Clean driving record and proven experience in driving delivery vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers, warehouse staff, and management.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate delivery records.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills for checking delivery orders and inventory.
• Problem-solving abilities, especially in the event of delivery issues or delays.
• May require weekend or evening shifts depending on business needs.
