Summary
As a Pet Counselor, you are responsible for finding the puppies their FUR-ever homes! You inform the customer of the safety and care that is needed for the puppy they are interested in. You also will present the value of a Petland puppy and what is included when they purchase with us! At times customers will apply for monthly payments, to which you will be in charge of running and finalizing. At the end, customers always sign a warranty in order to take their puppy home, which you cover with them.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in finding their perfect pet
- Ensure the safety of each puppy that's put into a room
- Brush/comb puppies fur each morning prior to opening
- Socialize puppies with customers on slow days
- Overcome objections/find solutions
- Financing/Warranty
- Be above $15 an hr at the end of a bi weekly pay period
Qualifications
- Sales experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of pet care/breeds
- Positive/Upbeat personality
- Open availability (weekends are a MUST)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.30 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
