Join our PetMeds / PetCareRX (PETS) team as the UX Designer and be a driving force in our digital retail success. At PetMeds, we're on a mission to transform digital experiences, making it easier and more enjoyable for pet parents to care for their furry family members. As a UX Designer, youll blend creativity with innovation to craft customer-focused solutions that simplify and elevate the shopping journey. Youll work closely with our Product and Engineering teams, turning business goals and customer insights into polished, user-friendly designs. Throughout the design and development process, your keen design sense, technical curiosity, and determination will drive you to create experiences that delight beyond expectations.
This is a hybrid role. Must be able to commute to either our Delray Beach, FL or Lynbrook, NY corporate offices 3x per week.
Key Responsibilities :
Create New Experiences (70%)
- Dig Deep : Ask insightful questions to uncover the root causes of challenges, then translate those insights into intuitive, user-centered designs that align with business KPIs.
- Stay Ahead : Identify unmet customer needs and monitor external trends to stay ahead of customer expectations.
- Design with Purpose : Independently create sketches, concepts, wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that vividly showcase the customer journey.
- Collaborate & Innovate : Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to tackle complex problems, using design thinking exercises to craft positive customer experiences.
- Enhance & Optimize : Analyze user feedback and behavior, refining designs to enhance the overall experience.
- Test & Learn : Conduct thorough user testing (qualitative and quantitative) to guide design decisions and resolve usability issues.
- Be Proactive : Gather customer feedback from sources like TrustPilot, BBB, usability tests, A / B testing, and analytics to anticipate future needs.

Qualifications :
Education & Experience :
Experienced Designer : 6 years in UX / UI design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to apply core UX design principles (user flows, wireframing, visual design, prototyping) to create end-to-end experiences.
