- Lead acquisition deal origination, underwriting, entitlements, government incentives, and execution of real estate opportunities to ensure optimal returns and consistency with the company’s specified investment strategy.
- Grow relationships with brokers, lenders, property owners, government institutions, and other real estate deal sources. Build a pipeline of off-market properties, including profitable future purchase options in target markets.
- Work with PETRA internal capabilities to include PETRA services into the projects when the capability is present.
- Utilize PETRA analytics, underwriting standards, industry professionals, and proprietary data to develop property underwriting packages to present to the Chief Investment Officer. Assess opportunity performance to improve our decision framework and risk mitigation.
- Responsible for oversight of professional offering and private placement memorandums to market the opportunities for investment. Secure capital from existing PETRA high net worth individuals, new high net worth individuals, and capital markets. A deep understanding of the real estate capital stack, GP / LP structures, and capital markets is crucial to the role.
- In conjunction with PETRA Fund Admin capabilities, provide ongoing portfolio performance, investor reporting, and strategic decisions around repositioning, disposition, and investor takeouts.
