ROV Supervisor - Gulf of Mexico (GoM)
Role Overview: Seeking a skilled ROV Supervisor to lead the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced ROV systems in support of subsea construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee safe and efficient ROV operations, adhering to project specifications and company protocols.
- Lead the ROV team, ensuring compliance with offshore regulations, safety, and quality standards.
- Serve as the liaison between offshore personnel and onshore project teams, providing updates and technical insights.
- Manage ROV launch and recovery, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with ROV mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain accurate and timely operational documentation, logs, and maintenance records.
- Engage in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety drills to uphold high offshore safety standards.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to align with project objectives and client expectations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 years of ROV experience.
- Valid IMCA (or equivalent) ROV Certification for the work area.
- College-level qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Hydraulics Engineering.
- Relevant industrial experience.
- Ability to pass offshore medical requirements.
- HUET/BOSIET offshore certification.
- Experience with Shillings HD and Perry XLX ROV systems.
This role also requires contributing to a positive QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) culture, including reporting safety issues and following local QHSE practices.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 84 per week
