Job Description:

Petrarca Landcare is seeking an experienced and skilled Knuckleboom Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Knuckleboom Crane Operator, you will play a vital role in our tree care operations, including tree removal, pruning, ground work, and equipment maintenance. This position requires a Class A CDL and a commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate knuckleboom cranes for tree removal and pruning projects, ensuring safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
• Assist in ground work activities such as felling trees, pruning, operating equipment, raking, and leaf blowing to support tree care operations.
• Coordinate crane operations with tree climbers to facilitate efficient and safe tree care procedures.
• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on knuckleboom cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Maintain a Class A CDL and operate vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Uphold a drug-free workplace and adhere to company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure work is completed on schedule and to high-quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate project details and address any concerns.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in tree care and crane operation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating knuckleboom cranes for tree care and removal.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of tree care techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and agility to perform manual labor and operate equipment.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
