POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Oil and Gas Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple clients with competing deadlines. Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately record and process operated oil and gas revenue.
• Responsible for revenue check writing process and distribution. 
• Responsible for the set-up of check masks and purchasers in the accounting system.
• Maintain monthly allocations and gas imbalances.
• Monthly reconciliation of revenue related general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with other accounting and D.O. teams.
• Responsible for responding to all revenue-related inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in oil and gas revenue accounting.
• Experience with one or more of the following oil and gas accounting software’s preferred: Ogsys, On Demand and/or Pak Energy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
