Your Role The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for helping the organization achieve its goals by leading and contributing to the following areas :
- Business Process Efficiency : Understand the current business environment, situation, and challenges. Work with all levels of the organization to understand issues and constraints. Develop solutions to overcome. Enable the organization to extract maximum efficiency from the existing ERP system, train users on the ERP system, solve complex problems beyond the scope of the IT Helpdesk, and identify and document best practices. Lead / participate on project teams to implement ERP system within newly acquired entities. This role will require analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills to work with a set of stakeholders (employees and management) in a way that breaks down complex business challenges into actionable solutions that drive business results. Function as a subject matter expert and share expertise with colleagues and customers.
- ERP Strategic Roadmap : Identify opportunities for improvement, stay abreast of changes internally and externally and leverage this knowledge to help set a strategic roadmap for our ERP. Participate with cross-functional teams for future ERP upgrade activities, up to and including project management leadership. Manage the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization of features against business needs, technology imperatives, and industry standards. Document vision, business requirements, and functional design for system improvements. Conduct research to determine whether solutions to business / technical requirements currently exist within or outside the business unit, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible. Develop solution concepts, optimize and implement end-to-end processes and functionalities based on best practices.
- Business Intelligence : Work with business teams to understand and develop reports to monitor our business performance. Administer the Incorta BI platform, work with complex data tables (SQL), design and deliver business insights to the organization. Education and Experience
- Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience including extensive and demonstrated capabilities in the areas of SQL, Business Intelligence, ERP systems, and Project management.
- Education : BA / BS, MS, preferably in a technology-related or business field.
- ERP Implementations : Prior experience in managing ERP implementation projects (strong preference for IFS). Proven ability to lead complex projects and run multi-departmental project teams with minimum supervision. Ability to translate business requests into organized, clear and concise business requirements and document workflows and processes.
- Business Processes : In-depth knowledge of full enterprise processes (quote to cash) in a major ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle, IFS) application management and / or implementation. Preference for experience in global manufacturing businesses.
- Business Intelligence : Experience with Business Intelligence platforms (PowerBI, Incorta, Tableau, data lakes, etc.). Ability to ingest data from multiple sources, work with SQL tables and create / write reports. Query, analyze, and interpret data and functionality problems in complex systems.
- Behavioral / Communication / Other : Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of social intelligence. Curious self-starter with advanced problem-solving skills. Enjoys continuous learning - overcoming challenges - not satisfied with the status quo.
