Job Overview:
We are looking for an evening Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our small kitchen staff and help maintain cleanliness around our restaurant. Position would work for Students. Open to anyone 16 and older that is looking for work. Willing to train the right person. Apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dish washing machines
- Wash specific items by hand
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and inform when stock is low
- Remove garbage regularly
- Remove linen bags regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
- Help with the prep list as necessary (such as chopping fruit and vegetables, mixing sauces and dressings, etc.)
Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail and sanitation rules
- Availability to work weekends occasionally
