Petroleum Engineering is a Niche Construction Co w/ Repeat Fortune 500 Customers. Offering General Contracting and Self perform our own site work for a wide range of project types is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Estimator / Project Manager
Job Responsibilities Include:
Analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare cost, time, materials and labor estimates
Perform detailed quantity take-offs for use in determining estimates and project budgets
Work closely with vendors, contractors and in-house staff to discuss and formulate accurate estimates. Interact with owner's representatives, GC's, architects, engineers, vendors, etc., for estimating & project management of the project
Job Requirements Include:
Preferred minimum 5 years’ public and private estimating & project management experience required
Negotiate contracts with external vendors and subcontractors
Experience with estimating and bidding software ( Sage Estimating or B2W & Agtek is a plus )
Estimating and project scheduling
Strong relationship-building skills
Experience in the construction and trades industry
Ability to manage & estimate multiple large projects simultaneously.
Must be reliable, self-motivated, goal oriented, creative, positive, organized, detailed, & professional. Must be team oriented & work well with others, as well as possess great communication skills
