Building and Facilities Maintenance Technician
Louisville, KY
Petroleum Service Corporation is seeking a Building and Facilities person to join our team! Some experience is required. Work Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 P.M. (Monday- Friday)
Pay Range: $22.50 with opportunity for advancement
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs minor building and facilities repairs (toilet flush kits, light bulb changes, ceiling tile replacement, office moves and/or assembling furniture, hanging shelves, etc.)
- Sets up/tears down meeting spaces for special events.
- Maintains seasonal equipment and managing rock salt inventories.
- Manages site records retention requirements.
- Rebuilds small air driven pumps to maintain site inventory.
- Performs safety attendant duties for other trades on site (elevated work, CSE, hot work, etc.)
- Trains and performs duties of Stores Clerk and Tool Room attendant in back-up capacity as needed.
- Completes building safety inspections on a regular basis.
- Operate an aerial lift such as a JLG, scissor lit, etc. and other small machinery.
- Operate a sit down and stand-up forklift.
- Completes any other duties assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious at all times.
- Must have a general knowledge of maintenance repair skills.
- Must have basic skills in Word, Excel and SAP.
- Great organization skills.
- Be able to work some overtime.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Stable work history with good references from past employers.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
- PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
