PSC Group is now hiring a full-time Railcar Repair Technician that will work safely around heavy equipment, railcars and railroad tracks to coordinate and compete all railcar repairs. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime, nights, and weekends if needed.Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00 / hr.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs
- Utilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge
- Notifies of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasks
- Follows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies
- Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met
- Completes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task
- Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available
- May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
