The successful application will have a wide range of experience in Medical Health Physics including a working knowledge of NRC and local regulatory requirements with the ability to accomplish tasks and goals in an organized and systematic manner. A history as a Radiation Safety Officer or a high-level Radiation Safety Office support role is ideal. Our role in radiation safety support is growing daily with new applications,
technologies, and regulations. The position also offers opportunity to cross over in areas of diagnostic and nuclear medicine physics. Some experience in these areas is an added plus but not a requirement. Certification or Eligible for CHP or ABMP(HP) or ABR required.
Compensation is on par or greater than the levels of medical health physics, AAPM salary
survey.
