Petroplan is working exclusively with a global energy company to staff an exciting LNG production and export terminal mega-project. We are recruiting a top caliber Engineering professional for a Civil Engineering position, based in Houston, TX who meets the following criteria.

- Deliver progress reports to senior management, outlining milestones and challenges.
- Contribute to weekly site engineering reports for stakeholder updates.
- Ensure timely issue resolution and adherence to project schedules.
- Maximize resource efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide technical support to resolve construction-related engineering challenges.
- Review and validate survey deliverables and address site interface concerns.
- Utilize engineering tools and drafting software.
- Interface with regulatory bodies, including LADOTD, USACE, FERC, and LDEQ to ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Company & Project and industry HSSE policies, standards, and regulations throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all design, construction, and maintenance activities comply with industry codes, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Contribute to HSEQ performance, promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Lead civil engineering activities during LNG facility construction, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and schedule requirements.
- Collaborate with contractors and teams to resolve issues and ensure proper execution of work.
- Serve as a technical resource and primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Approve civil design documents, drawings, and calculations to meet project and industry standards.
- Address site discrepancies, including survey deliverables and fit-up/interface issues.
- Provide input to field RFIs and collaborate with contractors to resolve issues.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation, including reports and drawings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
- Flexible in adapting to changing demands and managing adjustments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
- Professional Engineer license (preferred).
- 8 years of experience in refining, petrochemical, or LNG projects, including 2 years in EPC environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
