Petroplan is recruiting for a Director of Cybersecurity to serve as the primary driver of our LNG Client's digital security efforts.
The Director of Cybersecurity is responsible for shaping and implementing the organization's cybersecurity strategy. This role involves protecting critical systems and data, leading a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and staying ahead of evolving cyber threats. The Director serves as the primary driver of the organization's digital security efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigating security breaches, implementing containment measures, and driving recovery actions.
- Direct the design and deployment of security frameworks, including network security, endpoint protection, and data encryption measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity laws, regulations, and industry standards while staying informed about regulatory changes and their implications.
- Design and deliver cybersecurity training programs to educate employees at all levels on best practices and risk awareness.
- Regularly report on cybersecurity performance metrics, risk assessments, and threat intelligence to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a robust cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational goals, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Provide expertise in prioritizing and managing information security risks and initiatives.
- Oversee the escalation and management of cybersecurity risks across the organization.
