Title : Operations Readiness Maintenance Engineer - LNG Project
Petroplan is working exclusively with a global energy company to staff an exciting LNG production and export terminal mega-project. We are recruiting a top caliber Operations Readiness professional for an Operations Readiness Maintenance Engineer position, based in Houston who meets the following criteria.
Purpose
This position provides key Project leadership in design considerations for maintenance, material handling, equipment selection, maintenance strategy development and implementation in all phases of the project.
This position optimises equipment availability for service and integrity through maintenance analysis and assures CMMS master data & maintenance plan data integrity.
This position provides Maintenance engineering input to support the project to achieve safe, efficient and optimum start-up & operations.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
HSEQ & Process Safety
Contribute to equipment specification and tender evaluation
Leadership
Provide strategic maintenance input & solutions to facilityengineering.
Excellence
Ensure consistency of plant master data and maintenance plan master data is consistent with the Organization and facility specific standards.
Optimisation of planned maintenance to improve efficiency, reduce costs & risk.
Opex estimate development and optimisation of Opex
Work Processes & Systems
Responsible for coordinating the management of maintenance system implementation process
Responsible for development and validation of maintenance procedures
Responsible for the delivery of the maintenance build communication
Deliver / input into the facility's Maintenance Reference Plan (MRP)
Deliver Project Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Reliability Centred
Maintenance (RCM) and Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) modelling
Deliver SAP PM maintenance plans and procedures
Ensure all maintainable items are criticality categorised and have a defined maintenance strategy.
Ensure X1's relating to technical objects and maintenance plans changes or additions are valid, and the data is correct.
Ensure commonality across assets with regards to strategic maintenance, equipment & sparing
Provide assurance & implementation of maintenance standards, processes & KPI's.
Responsible for budget and delivery of operating spares.
Responsible to develop Opex estimates for opportunities

Skilled in root cause analysis methods
Skilled in defect identification and elimination methods
Analytical skills and thinking in the application of maintenance management principles, techniques and standards, knowledge of statistical
procedures
Skilled in Risk Based Inspection (RBI) & Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
Knowledge and understanding of project management and SAP PM.
5 years' experience in a technical role with asset experience and engineering (minimum 10 years for Senior role)
Awareness in Process Safety Critical Role (Knowledge for Senior Role)
Knowledgeable in the application of maintenance management processes, principles, techniques and standards
Knowledgeable in defining and implementing change, both organisationally and technically
Knowledgeable in technical integrity management practices and integration of maintenance and reliability engineering
Knowledge of rotating equipment and turbo machinery maintenance requirements
Knowledge of the principles and application of condition monitoring
Knowledge in cost estimation and skill in Opex estimation
