Position Overview :
The Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Operations oversees the database, networking, infrastructure, and security systems within the IT department, ensuring a reliable, secure, and efficient technology framework to support business productivity. This role is pivotal in aligning technology infrastructure with strategic objectives, directing development, testing, implementation, and ongoing operation of IT systems. The position reports to senior leadership and involves managing a team to deliver high-quality IT services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic direction for technology use, control, and infrastructure to align with the compnay mission and project goals.
- Oversee the periodic updates of the Strategic Computing Architecture and Cybersecurity Strategy.
- Ensure IT infrastructure, controls, and operations meet organizational requirements, offering reliable and secure support to end users.
- Establish and approve department standards, procedures, and contracts related to IT acquisition, implementation, maintenance, and operations.
- Develop and manage O&M and capital budgets, as well as IT operating plans.
- Evaluate and prioritize project portfolio activities, offering insights into business processes and emerging IT trends.
- Supervise end-user support services and technology infrastructure to achieve corporate objectives.
- Ensure department personnel adhere to established practices for IT analysis, design, security, configuration, testing, and implementation.
- Support long-term departmental planning, including business continuity and corporate crisis management initiatives.
- Lead co-located IT infrastructure operations and oversee disaster recovery preparedness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring consistent attendance and accountability.
