Intern for the World’s Leading Dog and Cat Products Supplier

Our environment is open and relaxed, with a focus on collaboration and improvement. Teammates walk up to each other’s desks to share a project idea or have a quick design review. Meetings can transition from a passionate debate to a fun team lunch. We teach each other new skills with on-site and virtual classes. Our office dogs help us test new prototypes and relax with a game of fetch, and no one seems to mind the dog hair.

As an intern at PetSafe Brands, you can expect to experience:
- Coffee & Conversation: Throughout your time with us, you’ll have the opportunity to sit with different leaders across the organization in a panel discussion over coffee to ask questions about our culture, products, and their role at PetSafe Brands.
- Training: You’ll receive training throughout your internship in the areas of PetSafe Brands culture, goal setting, presentation skills, and you’ll have the opportunity to practice the information you learn on the job!
- Collaboration: You will be given opportunity to work cross functionally throughout PSB and gain experience working with different business units on a daily basis!
- Content Creation Support
- Assist with brainstorming, planning, and helping produce engaging content and copy for organic social media platforms, with a focus on short-form video
- Support with basic video editing tasks and assist with capturing content as needed
- Community Engagement & Brand Voice
- Monitor social media platforms to engage with customers, influencers, and brand partners by responding to comments and messages to foster a positive online community through real-time interactions while maintaining our brand voice
- Trend & Content Research
- Stay informed about the latest social media trends and content styles, while gathering innovative content examples and social trends to inspire future brand content
- Content Calendar Planning
- Help maintain content calendars for 4 brands, ensuring all assets and posting timelines are organized
- A passion for pets is a must! Our work revolves around animals, and as part of our team, you'll have opportunities for hands-on experience with both dogs and cats
- Interest in social media content creation, digital marketing, and brand storytelling
- Comfortable being behind the camera and open to appearing on camera when needed
- Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Basic understanding of video editing tools for social content is a must (ex. CapCut)
- Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later or any other social media management tool experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Eager to learn, flexible, and enthusiastic about supporting a collaborative team environment
