Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats of all breeds.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their specific grooming needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately during grooming sessions to minimize stress for both the animal and owner.
- Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible.
Experience
- Knowledge of pet care practices, animal handling techniques, and basic veterinary care is advantageous.
