Job Description
We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling material handling equipment according to established specifications and instructions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly of material handling equipment using hand tools and power pneumatic tooling.
- Read and interpret schematics and drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Check inventory of assigned tasks and area daily to prevent stock outages.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Escalate all unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- General knowledge of technology.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment:
This position is stationed in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts.
