The Role
We're looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. This person will be responsible for the assembly of material handling equipment, ensuring it meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble material handling equipment, using hand tools and power pneumatic tooling, to precise specifications.
- Communicate effectively with engineers to clarify design requirements and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to identify potential stock outages and report to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to prescribed safety protocols and reporting any hazards.
- Participate in facility improvement projects to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably with heavy equipment, is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with general technology concepts is necessary.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is crucial.
