Your Responsibilities as a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic
As a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic at Petticoat-Schmitt, youll need a solid background in heavy equipment and diesel engine mechanical work, driving fleet vehicles. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities and the safe transportation of equipment.

Requirements for the Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic Position at Petticoat-Schmitt:
- Proven experience in Heavy Equipment Repair.
- Experience with, including, but not limited to, heavy equipment diesel engines, hydraulics, undercarriage repair, electronics and diagnostics.
- Experience with Heavy Truck repair is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred.

Hours Information:
- Normal hours are M-F, 7am 3:30pm
- Hours can extend depending on production needs.
- Some Saturdays as necessary. We are off on Sundays.
- We plan on working 40-45 hours per week. Overtime is likely but not guaranteed.
