What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at PetVet Care Centers?
We are looking for Veterinary Technician candidates who possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Duties:
- Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
- Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
- Assists with radiographic procedures
- Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
- Obtain patient history & appointment preparation for the vet
- Manage invoicing of patients
- Client communication and education
- Admitting and discharging patients
- General Anesthesia experience a plus
Requirements:
- Proficiency in various veterinary procedures and techniques
- Strong knowledge of animal care and handling practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Salary commensurate with skill level and experience
