Requirements
- Proven track record of the ability to apply effective qualitative analytical skills to synthesize large amounts of information quickly and summarize findings effectively.
- Knowledge and experience working in the energy industry or as an advocate for clean energy at the federal or state level.
- Aptitude to apply a non-partisan, evidence-based approach to projects and campaigns that require support across the political spectrum.
- Excellent political, strategic and analytical abilities with proven program management skills to develop, execute and evaluate a range of diverse strategies to achieve goals.
- Attention to detail and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Generally 8 years of applicable experience.
- Naturally develops and manages productive and collaborative relationships.
- Comfortable meeting multiple deadlines and balancing multiple projects at once in a matrix-style team environment.
- Experience with federal policy or state policy institutions or frameworks preferred.
- Knowledge of the U.S. clean energy policy field.
- Experience working in a policy or government relations role within government or the public sector.

Work Environment
Located in Pew' s Washington, DC, office, this position will participate in Pew's core in-office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and will have flexibility to work from home the remainder of each week.
Travel
This position requires about 20% domestic travel to meetings and conferences.
Benefits
Salary Range $110,800 USD - $123,800 USD. The salary range represents a reasonable estimate of the annual salary based on Pew's commitment to provide equitable and market-competitive pay. The actual salary offered will take into consideration many factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills and experience, internal pay equity, and business need.
