Primary Objective:

The Material Handler ensures that proper materials are available for the production lines and materials returned to the warehouse when jobs are complete. Assist with maintaining accurate inventory using our inventory computer system and maintaining a clean warehouse.  This is a pivotal role for the day-to-day operations.  Other duties may be assigned during down time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure raw materials, additives and colorants are properly staged and moved to production lines (jobs) and restocked as necessary. When the jobs are complete all materials are returned to the warehouse.
  • Responsible for material dryer cleaning and set up.
  • Put inbound received materials into warehouse.
  • Help to recognize inventory discrepancies and work to resolve them.
  • Empty trash dumpsters and cardboard recycling containers daily.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  •  

Requirements:

  • Forklift experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate.
  • 1 years of warehouse experience.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Experience with inventory systems.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time on concrete floors.
  • Use of PPE required: Ear plugs, steel toe shoes, safety glasses etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour
