What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Pexip?
Pexip is looking for a motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales Team. The ISR will be responsible for developing new opportunities, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You will also need to work with people across marketing, partner, and finance to develop and deliver customer offers.
The ideal candidate will be located in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This role will be onsite in our office in Herndon, VA with flexibility and work life balance offered.
As an ISR you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable with high activity which includes; qualifying, following up, closing inbound leads, working closely with channel partners and Distribution reps. It’s important to build solid relationships to ensure you become the trusted resource to discuss and quote the appropriate solutions.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career to influence the direction of the inside sales channel within the US as Pexip scales its business in the region.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Follow up and handle inbound leads through online web sales and marketing channels
- Understand customer needs to provide the correct solutions.
- Achieve monthly sales development metrics
- Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales executive for further development and closure when opportunities exceed set levels.
- Maintain and expand pipeline of prospects
- Develop relationships with our go to market Distribution and channel partners
- Perform effective video demos to prospects
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience working in a professional setting. SaaS knowledge a plus
- Can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
- Humble and willing to always learn
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Able to grasp new technology and communicate value to prospective customers
- Track record of over-achieving sales development metrics
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work with CRM and marketing tools such as Salesforce or similar tools
- Willingness to adjust working hours to accommodate multiple time-zones
