This role will be a remote position but candidates MUST be located on the West Coast in either PST or MST timezones. 
 

What You’ll Do 
 

As a Solution Delivery Engineer, you will work closely with customers to ensure the successful deployment and integration of Pexip’s cutting-edge communication solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: 
 

  • Leading customer onboarding to ensure a smooth start with Pexip. 
  • Implementing tailored solutions to meet specific customer needs. 
  • Executing integrations with third-party systems and platforms. 
  • Facilitating customer testing to guarantee optimal performance. 
  • Troubleshooting real-time technical challenges and resolving them efficiently. 
  • Collaborating with Solution Architects, Developer Evangelists, Support Desk, and Customer Success teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities 
 

  • Participate in the latter stages of the pre-sales cycle to align project approach, scope, and expectations. 
  • Host project meetings to clearly and concisely discuss goals, milestones, risks, and expectations with stakeholders. 
  • Maintain and organize all implementation and onboarding-related documentation for easy access and accuracy. 
  • Coordinate with customer-side technical resources (e.g., Firewall Administrators, Azure Owners, InfoSec teams) to drive projects to successful completion. 
  • Deploy Pexip solutions in self-hosted and cloud-based environments, ensuring all customer requirements are met. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment, integration, and testing phases. 
  • Simplify and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and understanding. 
  • Conduct administrator and end-user training to empower customers to use Pexip’s solutions effectively. 
  • Facilitate a seamless handover to Technical Support and Customer Success teams after deployment. 
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to expand product delivery and optimize integration within customer environments. 
  • Contribute to internal feedback loops by providing insights from the field, including feature requests, gap analysis, and other customer needs. 
  • Stay engaged with trends and advancements in the Unified Communications and Collaboration market to deliver innovative solutions to customers. 

 

Required qualifications: 
 

  • Must be a US citizen 
  • Experience working with large healthcare organizations or state government agencies. 
  • 5 years relevant experience in professional services and/or post sales technical support 
  • Strong technical understanding of Unified Communications technologies and platforms include SIP, H.323, WebRTC, Cisco, Poly, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other related partners/competitors in the virtual collaboration landscape 
  • Strong technical understanding of virtualization and deployment technologies such as VMware, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other equivalent technologies / environments. 
  • Baseline knowledge of enterprise networks, including the OSI model, IP-based technologies, and the troubleshooting strategies needed to identify and resolve network issues. 
  • Ability to rely on experience and sound judgement to plan and accomplish goals 
  • Ability to juggle a variety of complicated tasks, and be comfortable working independently with remote support 
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time 
  • Display extremely strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills  
  • Experience with custom scripting, such as Crestron/AMX Panel Customization, Cisco Macros, JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages. 
  • Reside reasonably close to a major airport to facilitate travel.
