Summary
The Production Assistant is the strategic and structural backbone of the production process. You will work closely with the Operations Team to receive goods, prep jewelry for production, manage samples, and ship goods. This is a dynamic, detail oriented, and fluid position with many responsibilities and lots of room for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scanning jewelry, components and emailing/creating documents about products
- Submit sales orders in Quickbooks to finished goods and componentry vendors
- Manage the first sample process for new production items
- Ship finished goods and samples to corporate accounts and retain accurate shipment records
- Maintain physical reports of open orders and pre-picks for corporate accounts

Production Responsibilities:
- Order components and finished goods through Quickbooks
- Maintain accurate pricing and inventory levels
- Allocate and prep jewelry components into “kits” for production
- Receive finished goods and componentry from domestic and overseas vendors
- Assist with quality control and finished product prep work
Shipping & Receiving:
- Receive and process goods
- Ship orders for corporate accounts
- Ship international orders
Corporate Sample Coordination:
- Prep samples and print labels for corporate appointments
- Create sample memos for all major appointments
- Check samples back in after appointments
- Prepare samples for design meetings & customer requested redesigns
- Maintain organized sample libraries for specific corporate accounts
- Maintain accurate product data for corporate samples
Required Skills:
- 2 years in the jewelry industry or equivalent
- Proficient to expert level at Excel
- Proficient at Quickbooks or a similar program
