What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Peyton Resource Group?
Job Duties :
- Review business requirements for processing of financial events from GuideWire, through FinPAL (our application) and sent to downstream consumers of the data
- Validate Test cases, identify errored events and possible root cause in our staging and standardization tables
- Pull data using SQL into an Excel file or from Kafka / JSON payload
- Review test scenarios against business requirements to validate test cases
- Automate test scenario validation using Python
- Creates business requirement documents (BRD) that sets out project requirement including costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines
- Performs business analysis and project management support for his / her area
- Develops detailed functional specifications including function models, process flow diagrams and report and screen layouts
- Creates presentation for recommendations and solution designs
- Coordinates with testing team in planning and executing system integration testing and regression testing
- Resolves functional issue in post-production environment during the cutover period
