What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Peyton Resource Group?
Designs and creates graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, print projects, websites and logos. Creates layout specifications and animation for electronic products. May use a variety of media to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Must have knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design. Responsible for archiving and retrieving artwork and electronic files. Manages projects to budget and schedule. Works well in a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, website designers and marketing specialists.
Responsibilities
- Within defined guidelines and framework, collaborates with business clients throughout the enterprise to produce graphics that best visually represent product content across all types of media. Works to plan and implement design solutions that meet the business client objectives within specific timeline.
- Partners with cross-functional areas, such as IT, to deploy graphic design product and ensure appropriate design elements applied (graphics, layout, colors, content) for best member experience. Ensures compliance with any regulatory policies or company procedures.
- Presentation design – slides & graphics
- Logo creation within brand standards
- Designing brand assets
Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in graphic design using different mediums such as print, multimedia, web development, storyboarding, and animation.
- Military experience and/or understanding of military imagery (4 years)
- Adobe Creative Suite, Sharepoint, Digital Corporate photography
- Experience creating executive-level presentations
- Able to translate financial and other complex concepts into consumable graphics
- Ability to work Hybrid in office, San Antonio, 4 days in office
- Digital Portfolio Required (pdf or website)
- Demonstrated ability to integrate editorial content with graphic and interactive-media.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills to interact with leadership and present innovative design concepts to develop products according to business requirements
