Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Technician to join our team as a Construction Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site coordination of fiber optic cabling, installation, modification, and splicing work performed by crew. You will survey job sites to determine the best installation practices, coordinate workflow within the field, and act as company liaison. Your duties will include identifying punchlist items in real time, ensuring and maintaining all company quality control and safety requirements, identifying performance issues and recommending corrective action, coordinating scheduling, performing quality control inspections, resolving complaints with property owners where personnel are working, and more.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Related construction experience in the outside Telecom or Fiber industry is preferred;
- Experience placing cables, conduits is a plus;
- Team leadership skills/experience is desired;
- Excavations experience is a plus;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required;
- A valid state driver's license and safe/clean driving record are necessary.
Salary : $50,000
