Job Description:
- As a Fiber Technician with the Peyton Resource Group, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of outside plant equipment.
- You will work closely with Aerial and Underground OSP Construction Crews to ensure efficient completion of projects.
- You will maintain accurate records of work activity, including documentation of tasks completed and materials used.
- You will assist in filling out required paperwork and participate in job site safety/hazard analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical or college degree is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, crawl, and work in various environments, on ladders, in attic spaces, on ceilings, in tunnels, on poles, and in trenches.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Exhibit a tendency for continuing education and self-improvement.
- Exhibit industry awareness.
