Job Description:
As the Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our legal and contractual obligations are met efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from managing corporate legal correspondence to ensuring compliance with governmental regulations. In the duties and role of Executive Assistant you have a sense of pride and ownership in the brand and presentation of the CEO you support and the company you will help build.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience with progressive legal research and research methods.
- Minimum of 5 years of Executive Assistant experience.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
Responsibilities:
As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for a wide range of legal and administrative tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Legal Correspondence: Prepare, file, and manage various corporate legal and banking correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Contract Review: Review vendor contract estimates and agreements, including proposed costs and ROIs, to identify, measure, monitor, and control risks effectively.
- Corporate Filings: Prepare, file, and manage all aspects of corporate filings with local, state, and federal governmental entities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Corporate Reporting: Handle various aspects of corporate reporting to ensure the company's full compliance with governmental regulations.
- Legal Research: Research applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to our ongoing business interests, ensuring timely and accurate compliance reporting.
- Liaison with Counsel: Serve as a liaison between the Leadership Team and outside counsel to coordinate administrative and corporate filings.
- Document Management: Create, organize, and maintain all corporate legal documents and filings for subsidiaries and related companies.
- Contract Coordination: Work closely with company ownership and corporate management to coordinate contracts and legal requirements for ongoing projects.
- Compliance Management: Partner with Department Managers, Executive and Leadership teams to manage the Company's Compliance folder, including updating and filing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for proper distribution and notification of responsible parties.
