What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Development Leader – Hydraulic Fracturing Software position at Peyton Resource Group?
SUMMARY :
The Product Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company’s hydraulic fracturing software product suite by identifying and capitalizing on new Oil & Gas technology product opportunities.
Responsibilities :
- Product Development – work with customer to capture & define user requirements, prioritizing features to achieve a balance between innovation, usability, and technical feasibility.
- Enhance existing products through continuous improvement and innovation.
- Participate in UAT to ensure the final product reflects planned features and functions.
- Help in the discovery and conceptualization of software products and solutions tailored to the oil and gas industry.
- Communicate a clear and compelling product vision.
- Navigate customer interaction & feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related Engineering field.
- Significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry (10-15 years), including field engineering or similar experience
- 3-5 years of Product Development / Product Owner experience within the Oil and Gas technology sector, specifically Oilfield Services
- Related AND recent experience in fracturing and fracturing software is required
- Must have a solid understanding of fracking operations and the end-to-end fracturing process
- Strong portfolio of successful product launches.
- Proven hands-on experience in user training, support, product adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to identify tools and techniques that can add to efficiency in prototyping, creating mockups, and capturing user requirements.
- Strong command of current technologies, learning / exploring new tech, and applying those to product development.
- Exposure / understanding of Agile / SCRUM, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a Microsoft DevOps environment is preferred.

Salary : $175,000 - $185,000
