What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Director - Networking, Embedded Software position at Peyton Resource Group?
Onsite work is required (NO remote / NO hybrid)
- Must have Hardware, Software, AND System testing, integration experience
- Team leadership, supervisory / management experience is required
- Lead quality assurance for all solutions : implementing standards across hardware, software, firmware, and manufacturing
- Supervise manual and automated testing for switch management software for evaluating various network traffic services
- Oversee quality areas such as embedded software testing, User Interface / GUI, system testing, mobile applications, test automation, and Design Verification Testing (DVT)
- Foster innovation by leading projects, including test script development and automation framework development
- Inspire, challenge, and train quality assurance team
- Assures quality in product design, validation, qualification, and resolving customer issues
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 8 years of software, hardware and system testing, integration and support experience
- 4 years of team management experience
- Strong hands-on skills in Python, C, C , Linux, Network Management Software, and Testing Embedded Software
- Experience with network packet generator and analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of System testing methodologies, processes, and standards
- Fundamental knowledge of Ethernet switching for layers 1-4 (preferred)
- Proven ability to drive complex, on-time software product development

Salary : $165,000 - $170,000
