What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radio Frequency System Engineer position at Peyton Resource Group?
The RF Systems Engineer will participate in and demonstrate proficiency in electrical engineering subjects such as RF, digital, and analog design. This is an individual contributor role in which the engineer is part of a cohesive team of engineers responsible for communications products for global customers. We are looking for an RF Engineer who appreciates working with engineering & production in a growing, positive work environment.
To provide technical initiative in all phases of product development for high power RF systems by performing the following functions:
• Devise the initial concept of the assigned device, component or system, and participate in the overall detailed product design
• Assume minor project responsibility and carry it through various stages of development per established schedule as required
• Ensures that all documentation is accomplished and in proper form
• Assists engineering management in developing proposals for new technical programs which will lead to new or improved products
• Maintains a high level of technical competence and state-of-the-art awareness
REQUIREMENTS
• At least 5 years of corporate Engineering experience
• Strong RF fundamentals such as impedance matching, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth and stability
• Must be able to create schematics and wire lists
• Excellent circuit simulation skills utilizing Spice or other simulation tools
• Problem-solving and lab debugging skills
• Hands-on experience in RF tuning and using RF instruments
• US citizenship, due to government contracts
Salary : $150,000 - $199,000
