Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash register.

Requirements

Availability to work a days and weekends.

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of various beverages, including brewing techniques and cocktail recipes.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 26 per week
