Positions Summary:
Provide a high level of technical advice, counsel, reporting and support in connection with the dual fuel operations throughout ProFrac.
Essential Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor and Analyze Metrics: Track natural gas (NG) flow rates, pressures, substitution ratios, and diesel displacement to evaluate dual-fuel performance and recommend optimizations.
- Track Equipment Performance: Monitor pump discharge pressures, hydraulic horsepower (HHP), and critical equipment temperatures (e.g., engine coolant, hydraulic fluid, and NG vaporization) to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Ensure System Safety: Actively respond to alarms from Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems, Natural Gas Distribution (NGD) equipment, and other safety-critical systems to prevent operational disruptions.
- Operational Oversight: Maintain real-time awareness of frac stage progress, fleet utilization, and job timelines to provide actionable insights that keep operations on track.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Primary Liaison: Act as the central point of contact between district engineers, field personnel, and corporate teams, ensuring seamless communication and quick resolution of operational challenges.
- Real-Time Updates: Deliver concise, accurate updates to the Strategic Operations Manager and executive team on dual-fuel fleet performance, key issues, and resolution timelines.
- Information Coordination: Facilitate the flow of critical data and recommendations between stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Performance Reports: Prepare detailed reports summarizing operational performance, substitution metrics, and cost savings for daily, weekly, and monthly review.
- Workflow Documentation: Develop and refine operational workflows, playbooks, and contingency plans to address common challenges in dual-fuel operations.
Issue Identification and Resolution:
- Real-Time Problem-Solving: Collaborate with district engineers and field teams to identify and resolve system malfunctions or operational anomalies using live monitoring tools and data analysis.
- Proactive Issue Management: Anticipate and mitigate risks by analyzing trends and addressing potential inefficiencies before they escalate.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Six years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of mathematical and scientific principles applicable to hydraulic fracturing and ability to make practical application of such knowledge in performance of duties.
- Knowledge of general business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Sensitive to confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams for team communication and collaboration.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills using Power BI and Excel.
- Ability to draft technical reports to management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools for hydraulic fracturing operations (e.g., ESD trailers, NGD systems).
