We are a Kelseyville-based company seeking an energetic person who loves farming and cannabis to join as Equipment and Maintenance Manager.
About the Opportunity:
The Equipment and Maintenance Manager will perform equipment and facility maintenance activities. The successful candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry, an exceptional work ethic, and strong observation skills.
This position will be located on-site at our Kelseyville location. This position is regular full-time, Hourly, Non-exempt, and reports to the Director of Farm Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety procedures and PPE requirements are followed at all times.
- Understand and interpret policies, procedures, and regulations for the team.
- Adherence to all company policies.
- Keen attention to detail with excellent organization skills.
- Coordination of daily tasks assigned by management.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Report any team issues to management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support operations by accurately maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly equipment and facilities inspections.
- Schedule preventive maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment, ensuring no disruption to the production schedule.
- Assist in the completion of equipment preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Carpentry repairs and installations.
- Review assigned work orders.
- Communication of monthly procurement items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing maintenance, repair, or installation tasks.
- Perform any tasks assigned by management.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEQUALIFYING SKILLS:
Education & Experience:
- Agricultural equipment maintenance experience is required.
- Computer savvy skills, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Background check required.
- US work authorization (required)
Skills and Proficiency:
- Knowledge of diesel equipment maintenance is required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage projects efficiently.
- Professionalism, integrity, and honesty.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and independently.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Must be able to sit, stand, and stoop for extended periods throughout the growing, harvesting, and processing season.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Regularly ascends/descends <20% slope in the working area with uneven terrain.
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test.
Work Environment:
- Work outdoors in various types of weather.
- It may be subject to the noises, cold, and odors of a functioning processing warehouse and/or farm.
- Daily exposure to machinery noise and extreme heat/cold.
- Exposure to fine particulate cannabis plant material as airborne particles.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly, Full-time
SALARY DESCRIPTION

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime, nights, and weekends are required.
