Shift : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
SUMMARY
As a Quality Engineer in a customer-facing role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet both internal and external quality standards, while also acting as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to product quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve quality processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing quality engineering, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Duties
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding quality concerns, providing timely and effective communication.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and audits as necessary to resolve quality issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any quality-related issues raised by customers.
- Develop and execute quality assurance strategies to ensure product compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor and track customer complaints and non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring effective follow-up and resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, engineering, and R&D) to drive continuous improvement and ensure quality standards are met.
- Review and approve First Article Inspections (FAI), inspection plans, and process validations to ensure product quality before production starts.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of quality metrics and performance in compliance with internal systems and customer requirements.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs for both internal and external stakeholders, as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations to drive innovation in quality management practices.

Tasks require walking, sitting, bending, reaching, mobility, frequent lifting and pushing / pulling. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to balance multiple tasks and any stress associated with the duties and responsibilities of this position are essential requirements in the performance of this job.

General Qualifications :
Education and / or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 36 months general quality or manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 24-months specific experience in precision metals fabrication and machining.
Language Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Mathematical Skills
Advanced mathematics skills.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or similar credentials preferred.
