Role Requirements
- Develop and optimize deep learning models for player tracking, event detection, and biomechanical analysis using game footage.
- Integrate and support models in PFF’s end-to-end data pipeline for ingesting, processing, and analyzing sports video data to benefit PFF’s sports analytics products.
- Research and implement cutting-edge computer vision techniques.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product team members to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability of AI models.
- Work with cloud-based infrastructures (AWS) to deploy scalable and cost efficient solutions in production.
- 1 years of experience researching and developing Computer Vision solutions specific for real-world sports use cases - football in particular is required.
- Expert grasp of software architecture, development practices/tools especially in regards to large-scale datasets is required.
- Experience designing, building, testing, deploying and maintaining predictive AI/ML models at scale and in production environments is required.
- Proven experience with video-based object detection and tracking.
- Strong programming skills in Python and cloud computing (AWS) for model training and deployment are required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
