Job Purpose:
Our delivery drivers not only make sure customers' products arrive at their destination on time but also serve as the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Complete the Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required
- Ride with and assist a driver trainer in executing deliveries
- Perform all required safety checks, including pre- and post-trip inspections, according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Report any safety issues or repairs needed
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight
- Deliver customer orders according to predetermined routes
- Unload products from the trailer and transport them into designated customer storage areas
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- Valid CDL Permit
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
